Procedure: Spinal Laminotomy

What was your initial medical issue?

I had a burning sensation in my shoulders, numbness that extended down my arm, and a sort of electric ‘twang’ feeling when I moved a certain way. These symptoms were relentless for nearly 12 years.

What did this issue prevent you doing?

I had trouble working and even doing everyday tasks.

What made you decide to do something about your problem?

Eventually it got so bad that I had an MRI, which revealed herniated discs and spinal stenosis.

What treatment/procedure did you have done?

Laminotomy.

How did you feel after treatment?

Right away my previous symptoms were gone. I was on pain meds for only three days after surgery and I started to sleep well for the first time in years.

If you need surgery, don’t wait – go see Dr. Sinicropi. I was so pleased with his care that I have since referred a good friend to him as well.
